How the Friends Wordle works

Every answer in this game is a Friends character, and so is every name you can guess. Each guess shows three clues: the year the character first appeared, whether they were the lead, main cast, or recurring, and their gender. Green is a match, amber on the debut year means within three years, and the arrow points toward the answer. Solve it in eight guesses, then start a new round as often as you like. These rounds never touch your daily Sitcomdle streak.

Friends follows six twentysomethings in Manhattan through love, work, and a lot of coffee at Central Perk.

Friends aired on NBC from 1994 to 2004, and the game knows 11 of its characters: 6 from the main cast and 5 side characters.
