New Girl Characters
New Girl follows quirky teacher Jess Day after she moves into a Los Angeles loft with three single guys.
After a bad breakup, Jess Day, a cheerful teacher with a habit of singing her thoughts, answers an ad for a room in a Los Angeles loft and moves in with three guys. Nick Miller is a grumpy bartender, Schmidt is a vain marketing man with a jar for his own bad behavior, and Winston Bishop is a former basketball player figuring out what comes next.
Jess's best friend Cece Parekh, a model, is a constant presence, and Coach, a personal trainer who lived in the loft in the pilot, later moves back in. Their drinking game, True American, has rules no one fully understands.
New Girl ran for seven seasons on FOX and grew from a showcase for Zooey Deschanel into a true ensemble comedy.
