That '70s Show is set in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin, between 1976 and 1979. Eric Forman and his friends spend most of their time in his parents' basement: girl next door Donna Pinciotti, handsome but dim Kelso, cynical Hyde, spoiled Jackie Burkhart, and Fez, the foreign exchange student.
Upstairs are Eric's parents. Red Forman is a gruff war veteran who threatens to put his foot in various places, and Kitty is a cheerful nurse with a famous laugh who mothers all of the kids.
The show ran for eight seasons on FOX, launched several young stars, and returned with a new generation in Netflix's That '90s Show.
