The Best Sitcom Couples
Sitcoms have always run on romance as much as on jokes. Lucy and Ricky made marriage the engine of the plot, Sam and Diane bickered their way around the Cheers bar, and a whole generation of viewers spent years waiting for Ross and Rachel, then Jim and Pam, to finally get it right.
These are the pairings fans still search for, grouped by show from the oldest premiere to the newest. Each card links to both partners' guides, says where the couple stands when the show ends, and points to the one episode that defines them. The summaries cover the whole run, so expect spoilers.
30 couples from 22 shows, and 20 of them married by the final episode.
