Frasier picks up after Cheers, with psychiatrist Frasier Crane moving back to his hometown of Seattle to host a call-in advice show on the radio. His elegant new life gets complicated when his father Martin, a retired police detective, moves in with his recliner and his dog Eddie.
Martin's live-in physical therapist Daphne Moon, Frasier's equally fussy younger brother Niles, and his down-to-earth radio producer Roz Doyle complete the main cast. Much of the comedy comes from the Crane brothers' snobbery colliding with everyone else's common sense.
Frasier won the Emmy for outstanding comedy series five years in a row, and Kelsey Grammer played the character across two shows for two decades. A revival streamed on Paramount+ from 2023 to 2024.
